Dengue Virus (DENV) PCR Detection Kit
Zena Max – Dengue Virus (DENV) PCR Detection Kit CE-IVD
Dengue is an illness caused by infection with any one of four related dengue virus (DENV) serotypes (DENV‐ 1, ‐2, ‐3 and ‐ 4). It is a single positive-stranded RNA virus that is transmitted to and between humans by infected Aedes mosquitos, mainly Aedes aegypti. DENV infections can be subclinical or cause illnesses ranging from a mild, flu-like syndrome with rash (dengue fever [DF]) to a severe and sometimes fatal disease, characterized by capillary leakage, thrombocytopenia, and sometimes hypovolemic shock (DHF)4. In addition, neurological symptoms associated with dengue have also been reported.
- Easy to use One step Real-Time PCR Technology
- Compatible with most commonly used RT-PCR machines
- Specificity of up to 100% and Sensitive down to 10 copies per reaction
Dengue Virus (DENV) PCR Kit
The assay is an in vitro qPCR detection kit for the qualitative determination of DENV in human samples. Specimens may include either human serum or plasma samples It is based on the hydrolysis probe detection method and is a highly sensitive one step RT-qPCR kit.
All Advanced Molecular Diagnostics products are manufactured in-house under the highest quality standards.
The Advanced Molecular Diagnostics dengue virus (DENV) RT-qPCR Detection Kit is highly sensitive and can detect a minimum of 10 copies per reaction as validated by our in-house methods.
The Advanced Molecular Diagnostics dengue virus (DENV) qPCR Detection Kit is highly specific for dengue virus (DENV) as validated by our in-house methods.
The sample for the Human dengue virus (DENV) qPCR detection Kit should be collected via human samples such as the CDC recommended sample type, which is: Human serum or plasma samples.
