Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1)
Plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1), also known as endothelial plasminogen activator inhibitor or serpine E1 is a protein encoded by the SERPINE1 gene. Elevated PAI-1 is a risk factor for thrombosis and atherosclerosis.
The kit contains an in vitro PCR assay for the qualitative determination of plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1) in human samples such as serum, plasma, cell culture, tissue extract and CSF. It is based on hydrolysis probe detection and is a highly sensitive one-step qPCR kit.
All AMD kits are manufactured using high quality standard methods and unique precision, comparable with other leading commercial PAI-1 diagnostic kits.
The AMD Plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1) kit is a very sensitive kit, when tested using our validation methods and devices.
The AMD Plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1) kit is up to 100% specific for PAI-1 using our validation methods and devices.
