Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) PCR Detection Kit
Overview:
Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) is a hereditary inflammatory disorder, which is caused by mutations in the MEFV gene, which encodes a 781–amino acid protein, pyrin. When MEFV is mutated and pyrin is not formed correctly or working properly, inflammation is not regulated, resulting in painful inflammation of the abdominal lining, lining surrounding the lungs and the joints, characteristic ankle rash, and fever.
Product details:
The assay is an in vitro PCR reaction assay for the qualitative determination of Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) in human samples such as whole blood. It is based on the hydrolysis probe detection method and is a highly sensitive one step qPCR kit for detection of the most popular 12 mutations of MEFV.
Quality:
All AMD kits manufactured under high quality standardization methods and unique precision. They are comparable to other approved commercial diagnostic kits.
